Contemporary Artist

Marcelo De Stefano is an Argentinian/Italian painter. He has always had a deep love for painting and a passion to express himself through art. He was inspired by the works of famous painters such as Vincent Van Gogh and Mark Rothko, among others.

His artistic philosophy revolves around the idea that true beauty can be found in non-representational forms using bold, sometimes erratic brushstrokes, vivid color palettes, or minimalist compositions. His goal is to convey emotion or inner experience through his paintings. He achieves this through the interplay of color, texture, and form, where each piece invites the viewer to interpret it in a personal and subjective way. He uses the energy and expressive potential of color in a dynamic balance to convey a range of thoughts and emotions.

Marcelo’s art challenges the viewer’s perceptions, inviting them to experience the world not through representation but through color, form, and emotion.

He has exhibited his work in many galleries and international art fairs. For example, at the United Nations in New York, Consulate of Argentina in New York, NYC Department of Education, Parsons, The Art Students League of New York, Noho Art Walk New York, Columbia University and BMCC as part of the Tribeca Film Festival in Manhattan, Casa de Vacas Cultural Center in Madrid, and Swiss Art Expo in Zurich, among several other galleries.
